"Hey..." Orlando said, with a light flush on his cheeks, "I'm not THAT bad... Am I?" he asked as he reluctantly handed over the microphone. "Bloody friends..." he said with a grin, grabbing Charlie around her slender waist, "okay, since you want me to stop singing so bleeding bad, you have to sing," Orlando said, giving Charlie a squeeze.

Dom stopped laughing and looked up expectantly. He hadn't ever heard Charlie sing, but he thought with her low, husky voice it might be wonderful.

Charlie backed away from Orlando with a scowl on her face, "I don't sing..." she whispered, as Orlando poked her in the ribs. "No! You can't make me. Elijah, Heeeeelp!" she squeaked as she tried to get away from Orlando's tickling. Ducking behind Elijah she used him as a shield.

Elijah grinned, his eyes lighting up, "I guess I could sing something, but you are gonna have to suffer through the Smashing Pumpkins, Orli." Turning to Dom and Billy, he asked, "You guys know 'Beautiful, Beautiful' right?" At their nod, Elijah slid in behind the keyboard and started a haunting intro to the song. At Elijah's nod, they joined in with their instruments as he sang, "Beautiful, you're beautiful, as beautiful as the sun. Wonderful, you're wonderful, as wonderful as they come." His eyes never left Charlie's face.

Cursing fluently in several languages, Viggo was still stuck in the crawling traffic. Suddenly the road cleared as he passed the accident that had caused the accident. Viggo floored the gas, heading toward the address that Orlando's publicist had given him and tapping his fingers on the steering wheel.

The tune was slow and emotional, "And I can't help, but feel attached, To the feelings I can't even match," Elijah sang as he watched Charlie standing with Orlando. "With my face pressed up to the glass, wanting you, Beautiful, you're beautiful, as beautiful as the sky."

With a smile, Orlando's eyes changed from deep chocolaty brown to two-toned Brown and bright blue. Legolas pulled Charlie into his arms and gently held her as they swayed to the music. One tanned arm wrapped around her waist as the other was casually draped over her shoulder. Gently, he leaned down and whispered, "You know he loves you so much, I can see it in his eyes when he looks at you. I think he is a bit jealous of the relationship you have with Orlando." Holding Charlie close, he glanced at Elijah and gave him a wink with those strange duo-toned eyes.

Dom saw the love bleeding out of Elijah's eyes and blinked. I didn't know, he thought, I thought Elijah was gay or at least in denial over it. He shook his head wondering about their relationship. It obviously wasn't on solid ground.

Charlie stiffened for a moment when she heard the change of accent and realized that Legolas had returned after a long absence. "Welcome back, Legolas. I have missed you. But as for Elijah, there is no need for him to be. I love Orlando, but more as a my best friend and confidant than anything else," she whispered back as she pressed herself tighter against Legolas' form, but still gazing at Elijah with a soft smile. "I do love him, you know."

Billy smiled as he saw the way Elijah and Charlie were gazing at each other. It was good to see and it felt good to be playing a love song for people that meant so much to him.

Viggo pulled up in front of the house and climbed out of his car. He could hear the sounds of live music inside, so he headed up to the screen door to take a look to see who was playing. His heart thudded down to his feet at what he saw inside.

"Wonderful, it's wonderful, to know that you're just like I, And I'm sure you know me well, as I'm sure you don't." Elijah smiled tenderly at Charlie when he noticed her looking back at him, "But you just can't tell, Who'll you love and who you won't."

Legolas ran his hand through her short black locks which were tinted with purple and red now, as he swayed her to the music. "You should tell Orlando that you and Elijah were holding back on your relationship to take care of him, he would not like it that you have been hiding it from him." He gently stroked her hair and held her close to his heart. Somewhere near, somehow he felt someone, a presence that he used to know. He frowned slightly trying to place it.

Dom followed Elijah's gaze to where Charlie was dancing with Orlando. It's strange, but Orli looks different somehow. He moves differently and stands taller, Dom thought as he frowned.

"And I love you, as you love me, So let the clouds roll by your face," Elijah sang on.

Charlie nodded as she kissed Legolas' cheek softly, "I will, you are right. Why is it that you always know the right thing to say?" Legolas chuckled softly and kissed the top of her head, as he spun her round, so her back was pressed against his chest. He gently held her in his arms as they faced the guys and continued to dance.

Billy saw Dom's distracted frown and looked toward the couple dancing, but then his eyes continued on. What he saw caused him to frown as well, for Viggo was framed in the beach house door looking in. He looked like he had been hit by a truck.

Elijah crooned on, "We'll let the world spin on to another place, We'll climb the tallest tree above it all."

Viggo swallowed hard and turned, heading quickly back to his car. He jumped in and drove off without looking back. If he had he would have seen Legolas turning to look where he had been seconds before. Viggo gunned his engine and drove home like something was chasing him.

"To look down on you and me and them, And I'm sure you know me well, as I'm sure you don't," unaware of the undercurrents flowing around the room, Elijah continued singing to the woman he had grown to love. "But you just can't tell, who you'll love and who you won't, Don’t let your life wrap up around you."

Legolas blinked towards the window thinking he had heard something, then he leaned down and whispered something in Charlie's ear. He gave her one last affectionate squeeze. Kissing the top of her head again, he let Orlando have his body back. Orlando sniffed and cried out, "BLOODY CHRIST! MY SALMON!" He race out the back door towards the deck.

"Don't forget to call, whenever, I'll be here just waiting for you. I'll be under your stars forever, Neither here nor there just right beside you." Elijah smiled crookedly at Charlie as Orlando sprinted out of the room and then finished up his song, "I'll be under the stairs forever, Neither here not there just right beside you."

Dom finished a last brush stroke against the drum head and followed Orlando out, running to see if he could help salvage dinner.

Charlie moved toward Elijah gracefully, like a panther stalking her prey. She kissed him greedily, as she moaned into her kiss. "Come on, luv... Let's let the boys eat, I know what I am hungry for," she said. The heat in her gaze brooked no arguments from him as she stepped backwards and then headed towards the bedroom, her swaying hips a beacon calling him home.

Elijah colored up as he saw Billy grinning at him, but then smiled back. Following Charlie, there was a spring in his step that hadn't been there for months. Billy stopped for a moment to think about what the consequences of Viggo's presence might mean, but then decided to head out to the deck instead. It's too beautiful a day to worry about that shit, he thought with a grin.

Elijah reached the bedroom door before Charlie could turn the door knob, "It's been way too long, Charlie." Taking her shoulder he spun her around and pressed her back to the door, kissing her hungrily.

"Dammit, I've lost him..." Viggo whispered as he entered his apartment and slammed the door. He picked up a bottle of scotch and locked himself in his studio to paint.

"My bloody salmon!" Orlando cursed as he gazed towards Dominic and Billy, picking up his salmon and tossing it into the bin. "The burgers are like hockey pucks."

Dom watched Orlando warily just in case he decided to blame him for the barbecue fiasco, "Damn, what should we do about dinner, Orli? Do you have anymore meat and fish in the house?" Dom wondered as his stomach let out a loud rumble.

"No... Let's just order take away," Orlando grumbled. "Anyone up for Veggie Pizza?" as he glanced around for answers, he noticed that a certain pair of some ones were missing. "Where's Charlie and 'Lij?" he queried.

Billy's grin covered his whole face, "I don't think we have to worry about them for awhile. They seem to have found something better to do."

Orlando laughed, "Hope it wasn't my singing." He said, as he headed into the house to grab the cordless and the phone book. "Well? What do you want on your disc?"

Dominic looked at Orlando puzzled, "Anything is fine with me. Orli, I don't think it was your singing, it was probably Elijah's." Dom reached out and touched his arm and asked, "Are you alright, mate? Sometimes you just don't seem like yourself."

Orlando pondered telling them about sharing his body with Legolas, but then changed his mind. "Yeah, I'm alright, just... a little tired... from Troy and all," he said softly and then dialed their usual pizza place, ordering two large vegetarian pizzas and a large ham, mushrooms and pineapple. "What do you think about the reunion Elijah suggested," he asked after he had hung up.

Billy answered, "I think it sounds ragin', mate. But are you sure you are up to seeing Viggo and all?" Billy couldn't get the image of Viggo's ravaged face in the doorway out of his mind.

Dom watched them, trying to put his finger on the difference in Orlando, but it was gone now.

Orlando sighed, "Yeah, I think I'm pretty well off. Charlie and 'Lij have been helping me heal, and you guys help too. Yeah, I think I can handle it... Why?" he asked as he glanced over at Billy with a lop-sided grin.

Billy sighed and decided to tell the truth, "Viggo was here awhile ago, while you were dancing with Charlie. He didn't even knock, Orli. When he saw you two, he looked like road kill and then he left. I guess, he thinks you two are an item."

Orlando groaned, "I thought I felt him... But I am okay with the fact that Viggo and I aren't together... I'm okay with it, I am over it... I'm okay," he said shakily. His thoughts were racing, Bloody Christ, he had to fuckin' show up now?! Why did he have to show up now and see Charlie in my arms... it's Charlie for cryin' out loud... Then Orlando remembered that Viggo had never met Charlie and he sighed inwardly, I owe him no explanations, he saw what he wanted to see... He could have bloody well knocked. I would have been nice to him.

Dom put his arm around him and squeezed, "We'll be with you, Orli."

"And Charlie and Elijah will be too, if they ever come out of the bedroom," Billy grinned, his eyes sparkling. "I think we should have the reunion here in L.A. It's pretty accessible for everyone."

Orlando leaned into Dom's embrace and nodded, "Then let's do it, and not bother Charlie and 'Lij... in fact when the pizza gets here, let's go out. They get kind of loud."

"Have they been together long? I mean, I never noticed anything the other times we visited," Dom asked curiously.

Orlando shrugged, "Well they met in Milan when I was on break from Troy. I was in New Zealand, but 'Lij called and I ended up in Italy with him. I called Charlie and they hit it off, but I thought it was a one time thing. They really haven't been together since."

Billy smiled gently, "That looked like a lot more than hitting it off, Orli. The way they looked at each other when he was singing to her, it was like intense. And not just a lustful look either. More like they were memorizing each other's spirit's."

Orlando looked thoughtful, he didn't remember Elijah singing, it was another one of his blank spots. He sighed, "So... they have love." He glanced in the direction of Charlie's bedroom, then he heard the doorbell. "I've got it, mates," as he opened the front door and paid for the three pizzas. Orlando took the pizzas back and placed them on the counter. "Yeah, they have each other and they have love, something I thought I had... but don't," he sighed again.

Dom followed him to the counter and grabbed a slice of pizza, not caring what type it was. "Orli, you have plenty of time. It's not like you ancient or anything. You will find someone."

"I don't want just someone..." Orlando whispered, "I miss my scruffy ranger." He stared at one of the framed sketches that Viggo had done of him as Legolas and sighed deeply. He could almost see Legolas in his reflection off the picture glass.

Billy gave Orlando a hug, "Apparently he still wants you too, Orli. He wouldn't have come if he didn't. Don't let your pride stand in the way, mate. Go to him before it's too late."

"I can't... there are factors in this that I don't want to have surface again and I just can't go back to him," Orlando said as he hugged Billy and then tickled him till he was breathless.

Billy shrieked and fell to the floor in paroxysms of giggles. Dom watched as he ate his pizza contentedly. Billy screamed, "Fuck it, mate! Stop before I piss myself."

Orlando smugly smiled as he stopped tickling Billy and hopped up. He grinned, "I win!"

Billy lay on the floor gasping, thoroughly disheveled. Dom grinned at him, "You look like you just had a good lay, mate."

Orlando looked down at his prone friend and nodded, "Aye, actually ya do and I thought the only one getting laid was 'Lij," smirking. A high pitch scream was heard from the back of the house. "Yeah, they're done," Orli said as he reached into the fridge for the soy milk, "Deck?" he asked as he made his way towards it.

Still breathing heavily, Billy sat up. He said shakily, "Christ are they always like that? How do you fuckin' get any sleep?"

"Earplugs."

Dom smiled, "Yah I guess that would work."

"Sometimes though, well Charlie... well let's just say that the Nazgul are quieter," he grinned impishly as he took a swallow of the soy milk and then went outside to sit on the deck railing.

Billy looked up with interest and followed him out onto the deck, "Really? Do you have personal experience with this?" His eyes were twinkling.

Orlando choked on the soy milk and glared at Billy, "I'm not telling you that piece of information, you bloody twit. Ask Charlie."

"Ok mate, I will tell her you told me to have her tell me a bedtime story," Billy's lips twitched as he tried not to smile.

Orlando smacked Billy upside of his head with the plastic milk bottle, "Don't you bloody dare, mate, or... I'll give you a wedgie."

Dom grinned as Billy scooted backwards in mock fear, his eyes wide and his hands up to ward off impending doom. "Not the wedgie, oh man, no! Future generations of Boyds will be wiped out in a single moment," Billy's voice trembled and his hands were shaking. Dom started giggling.

Orlando looked at Billy in sorrow, "You mean you lied to me, Mate?" He shook his head sadly.

"What do you mean, mate?" Billy asked in confusion.

"Well, you told me that you had the biggest balls in New Zealand before you went bungee jumping with me. Now you are telling me they will be wiped out by a single wedgie. This doesn't seem possible to me man," Orlando finished with unholy glee, peering at Billy as though he was a specimen in a petri dish.

Billy blushed an amazing shade of red, "I must have been delirious with fear."

"Ok, mate, I will make you a deal. You don't ask Charlie and I won't tell her that you screamed louder than she did when you jumped," Orlando said smugly.

Dom started to laugh and then caught himself when he remembered that he had screamed pretty badly himself. He knew that Billy would call him on it too.

Billy smiled jauntily, "I don't know if I can take that deal, mate. That story might be worth the loss of my self-respect."

"Oh, really? Then who would win the screaming contest?" Orlando asked as he gently nudged Billy with his finger. Taking the last swallow from the soy milk container he let out a laugh.

Billy grabbed his finger, "You gonna throw us off a cliff to find out, mate? I have a feeling I would, she looks like she could face a tiger without flinching." He dropped the finger, "So I will concede and I won't ask..." he ducked inside the house and ran toward the guest bedroom, and yelled back out, "unless I can get away with it of course."

"WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!" he shouted back as Charlie passed Billy in the hallway and came out into the living room dressed only in an oversized shirt and a pair of bunny slippers with a beautiful flush on her face.

Dom's eyes widened and his mouth fell open when he saw Charlie, "Uhhh, I am gonna go talk to Billy." He quickly made his escape.

Orli laughed deeply and headed into the house. "You know, you could wake the dead with those screams of yours," he ribbed her gently and gave her a hug. "You wear 'Lij out again?"

Still blushing, Charlie smiled slowly, "He mentioned something about needing an EMT. I told him I thought a rest would do him as much good."

Orlando smirked, "I bet you did." His expression changed to serious, "Viggo was here."

Charlie frowned and her fists clenched, "Just now? What happened? I am so sorry, I was supposed to be watching out for you. Damn it!"

Orlando gently pulled her down to sit next to him on the love seat, "No, before, when we were dancing, or rather you were dancing with Legolas. Billy saw him. Apparently he saw you together and left."

"He just left? Why would he come if he wasn't going to say hello?" Charlie asked.

"I don't know," Orlando replied. He stood up and grabbed a pizza box and offered her a piece, "Here's pizza if you're hungry, which I am sure you are. With the way you and 'Lij were going at it, I know you need sustenance."

"Okay, are you having any?" she absently took a piece of the proffered pizza. "Did Billy or Dom say anything more about him?"

"No, and no. I'm not hungry really," he said as he watched her nibble at the pizza. "Billy and Dom hid after they heard you scream," his eyes were twinkling.

She burst out laughing, "They hid! Hmmm, either they were afraid I would come after them next, or they should have been coming to my rescue." Charlie giggled helplessly at the thought of them bursting in to rescue her as she had Elijah totally at her mercy. "Besides if I remember correctly, this time it was Elijah who screamed."

Orlando's gasp echoed as his eyes went wide, "That was Elijah screaming in there?"

Charlie blushed, "Well, hmmm... yeah!" She laughed self-consciously. "He seemed to be."

"Well I guess my little bet with Billy was off... by a long shot, I thought it was you," Orlando said scratching his head. "Ah well, we discussed it and they want to have the cast reunion here in L.A."

Charlie flushed again and then gladly changed topics, "I think that would be best, since we are pretty much based here now. It will make it easier to make arrangements and all. I know a really good party planner. Ciel and I were involved a few years back and we are still friends. She is an impressive party planner among other things." She said this last part with crooked grin.

Orlando rolled his eyes, "Alright, I'll let you plan this, but if you make it one of your huge extravagant parties, I want the right to tell Elijah exactly HOW to torture you."

Charlie smiled absently. "Well, you are going to have the main cast there, right? Are you planning on inviting the lesser characters? You can't make this shabby, darling. I know you are happy with pizza and beer, but not everyone is as casual as you are," Charlie said, as she happily started making party plans in her head.

"Yeah, I guess so... but please, Charlie... nothing as extravagant as the last do you held!" he replied as he kissed her cheek, and then took a sniff, "Go take a shower, you smell like Gimli."

"No, darling, I think I smell like Frodo," was her parting shot as she headed down the hallway.

"OIY! Too much information!" he said with a snort. He looked over at the phone and then picked it up. He dialed a very familiar number.

Viggo cursed when the cell phone rang, as it caused him to make a mistake on his latest canvas, "Fuck, Orli doesn't need brown war paint on his face." He dug in the pocket of the cut off that were the only thing he wore besides paint. Pulling out the offending cell phone, he said huskily, "Hullo?"

Orlando nearly hung up as that deep voice came on the line, but then he took a deep breath, "Hey... you know you could have knocked." He closed his eyes wondering if this was really such a good idea after all.

Viggo's heart nearly stopped for a moment and then thudded into a rapid beat, "Oh hi, Orli. Well, you looked busy. I didn't want to intrude. I didn't think anyone saw me."

"I would've stopped dancing to say hi, we were having a barbecue, and they ruined my salmon... again," Orlando said with a chuckle, "Though it was really my fault, I had to start singing."

Viggo smiled at the memories Orli's words brought to mind, "You sang?"

"Yeah, badly according to everyone there," Orlando said with a blush, "Guess I did, I'm not good with Bonnie Tyler."

"I always liked it when you sang to me," Viggo said softly. "Elijah and the guys sounded pretty good... You seemed to be enjoying it."

"I was, Charlie is a good dancer," he said, as he gently traced the end table's engraved edge with the tip of his finger. "Vig, listen... about Charlie..."

"No... it's ok, you don't have to tell me. I understand, it's good that you have someone, " Viggo managed to get out without crying.

Orli groaned, "It's not like that. Charlie and I are just friends... and there is something else I have to tell you..." He pulled his legs up into a modified lotus position.

"What... Orli?" Viggo sighed, as he tortured his hair with his free hand.

Orlando started, "Charlie..."

Viggo cringed, "Charlie is gorgeous from what I could tell, Orli." He wasn't sure that he could hear much more about the gorgeous young man that Orlando spent so much time with.

"Viggo, Charlie IS gorgeous, but not really my type." He gazed at the ceiling in frustration, why couldn't he just open his mouth and tell Viggo the truth.

Viggo said sorrowfully, "He looked like your type, Orli. You guys were pretty intimate while you were dancing."

"We always dance like, best friend and all..." he said softly, as he heard the sorrow in Viggo's voice and nearly blurted out that Charlie was a girl. "Vig, seriously, Charlie isn't my type, I love Charlie with all my heart, but not my type."

"Ok, Orli. I believe you," he said, though he really didn't know what to think. "How are you enjoying L.A.? Henry said you have been living here for a couple of months."

"Say hi to Henry for me. Seriously, it's busy, but I've had Elijah and Charlie looking out for me. They're beginning to smother me, though I love ‘em both. We do a lot of surfing and I got Charlie to jump off a bridge with me."

Viggo frowned slightly, "You guys are all living together."

"Yeah, for now. IT'S cozy," Orlando said with a laugh. "I have to fight Charlie every morning for the bathroom and the hot water."

Viggo sighed, "Yeah, I am sure it is. I need to go, thanks for calling, Orli." In a daze, Viggo didn't even wait for Orli to respond before hanging up. His mind raced in all sorts of directions, imagining Orlando with Charlie, with Elijah and in endless variations.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Orlando blinked as Viggo hung up on him and sighed, "What was I thinking!" Going straight to the liquor cabinet he found his favorite drink, Oban... "Just what the doctor ordered!" he said, flopping on the couch, twisting the top off, and taking a deep swallow.

Elijah came out of the bathroom wearing a pair of purple flannel boxers and was rubbing his head with a lush green towel. His eyes went straight to the bottle in Orlando's hand, "What's up, Orli? You haven't drunk straight out of the bottle in weeks."

Orlando shrugged and tipped the bottle up again, draining half the bottle in a few swallows, "Don't ask me no questions, I will tell you no lies."

Elijah looked down at him in concern. Orlando's tone was belligerent. "Are you mad at me, mate?"

"No... Mad at my own bleedin' self. Why can't I just bloody well tell him that Charlie is a bloomin' girl?!" Orlando plucked at his tank top absently.

"Tell who, what?" Elijah was confused, "I am not following you."

"Viggo!" Orlando practically growled his name.

Elijah looked barely more enlightened, "Oh... when did... I mean didn't you tell him that Charlie is a girl?"

"Just now, I bleedin' called him and babbled on and on, but not once did I fuckin' mention that Charlie is a bloody, soddin' bloomin' GIRL!" he said as he finished off the bottle and tossed it aside. Standing up, he was intent on another bottle, "No I was too busy babbling about how you, Charlie and I are living together, how good it felt to fucking dance with Charlie and how I usually have to fight with Charlie over the hot water... and atop all that, I bloody well told him I was singing Bonnie Tyler!"

"Viggo thinks Charlie is a guy and that you two are together?" Elijah sat down heavily in the armchair, "What did he say?" Elijah was puzzling over these revelations and didn't notice Orlando getting another bottle of Oban before sitting down on the couch again.

"That we looked bloody intimate dancing... but of course I looked bloody intimate, it's bleedin' Charlie for Christ's sake!" Orlando ground out as he twisted the cap off the new bottle and took a swallow. "I don't know anymore, shit, I thought... I wanted..." he took a deep breath and plunged on, "When the guys told me that Viggo was here, I thought he wanted to work things out... but I guess not."

"Viggo was here?" Elijah asked in shock.

"Yeah I guess he came while Charlie and I were dancing, well actually it was Legolas, I don't remember it. Vig left when he saw it," Orlando looked like he wanted to weep.

Elijah reached over and took the bottle from his hand, standing he took it over and replaced it in the liquor cabinet. He came back and sat next to Orlando and put his arm around his friend. "Orli, I think Viggo probably did want to get back together. I mean, if I saw Charlie like that and I wasn't sure where we stood, I would probably leave too. And I would think that other person was more important than me too," Elijah's eyes darkened with emotion, "I am sorry, mate but I can see where he's coming from. It's how I have felt about you and Charlie for the last few months." He released Orlando and sat back to look him in the eyes.

Orlando looked back at him, "Why didn't you tell me?"

Elijah looked uncomfortable, "Well for one thing, I didn't really know where I stood with Charlie. We kept skirting around the subject. And you were hurting so badly, I couldn't add to that or take Charlie's support away from you. I mean half the time she sleeps in your room, for Christ's sake. I was too scared to ask, because I was afraid of the answer. And I bet that's exactly where Viggo is right now."

"Well, between us, Charlie whimpers your name in her sleep when she's with me... I spend most nights awake, just listening to her go on and on about you," he said softly, "She loves YOU, she's my friend, but she loves you."

Blushing lightly, Elijah said, "Yeah, we worked that out. I should have sang to her months ago." He laughed self-consciously, "But I never could have just asked her, maybe Viggo can't either."

"Bloody idiot," he said, then softened at Elijah's hurt expression. "Not you, 'Lij, him... If Viggo wanted to know he should just ask," he sighed. "I know that it's difficult to take that step, but still, it's better to ask, than to jump to conclusions."

Elijah recovered and then said, "Well, he knows that he screwed up with you, Orli. It's not like he's expecting you to be waiting for him. In fact, I imagine he'd more likely expect a beer bottle thrown at him, rather than a warm welcome. At least I knew that you and Charlie liked me and that you weren't holding anything against me."

"Course not, you're my friend," Orlando said, "And Vig... I guess I thought he loved me... but I guess I see where he's coming from. Maybe... maybe this reunion isn't the best idea."

Elijah smiled and patted his arm, "Well, it's up to you, mate. Maybe if he sees that Charlie is a girl, that will make a difference. But no matter what you decide, we will be there for you. I will even give Charlie up to you for the evening if you need her support. I think I have gotten over my jealousy..." Elijah continued with a slight furrow in his brow, "In fact I have a confession to make, if you think you are up to it."

"Go ahead... tell me," Orlando said, as he pondered all the things Elijah said.

Elijah watched Orlando's face, hoping he would be able to read his reaction, "Well, when Legolas was in your body in Milan, Charlie and I slept with him. We didn't say anything, because... Oh, I don't know why we didn't. But the longer it went without you know, the easier it was not to say anything about it." Elijah sighed, "I have felt guilty for months, I feel like I have abused your trust."

Orlando blinked, this was not at all what he had expected to hear. "You slept with me... well, Legolas in my body... well, me?" he asked, a little confused and then he smiled. "You didn't abuse anything, 'Lij, as long as I made you happy, then so be it, it's all good."

Elijah grinned in relief, "Yeah, actually it was great, it practically carried me till today," he laughed.

"I wondered about that look you had on the plane... with the blushing everytime you looked at me, and why on earth you would let him eat all those sausages," Orlando teased gently.

Elijah whooped, "Well the sausages came first actually. That was at the breakfast buffet. You should have seen him, I thought the maitre d' was going to give birth to a bovine. Legolas kept running up to the buffet and shoving stuff in his mouth! We almost got thrown out." Elijah was clearly delighted with the memory.

Orlando laughed along with Elijah, picturing it in his mind, "Well, he does seem to like his meats... guess I will have to get used to eating it again... if we're going to continue sharing my body."

"You might want to do it a little bit at a time, you were seriously green," Elijah grinned at Orlando. He was very glad that he had finally got the stuff  that had been bothering him off his chest. He actually felt like himself again. "You know something, Orli?"

Orlando looked slightly bemused, "I am not Kermit... I couldn't have been that green! But what's up 'Lij? No, wait, before you ask, I can answer your question about Charlie."

"Which question was that, Orli? There are about a million of them," Elijah said blushing.

"I will not take Charlie from you, ever. And I don't want her in my bed... I just want that scruffy, uppity ranger who stole my heart..." Orlando said softly, "I love her, but she's not mine, Charlie loves you, and I respect that."

Elijah smiled warmly, "I knew you guys weren't making love, I would have been able to hear that. It's never quiet with her." Elijah's face fell with remembered pain, "I was still jealous though, and not all of it was about her either, to be honest. There was a lot of angst about being alone when you two had each other. I have never had a friend like that. Acting when you're a kid doesn't make you any lasting friendships, they are all likely to stab you in the back over the next part. So I would just lie there thinking about all the love you two shared and I was childishly jealous. I guess this 21 year old still has some maturing to do." Elijah gave a self-deprecating smile.

Orlando smiled at his young friend, "Well, mate, I think you're pretty mature now... but honestly, if I hadn't know Charlie for twenty years, I'd probably feel the same way that you do now." Orlando took Elijah's hand in his, "So what do you think, about Charlie... you going to ask her anytime soon?"

Elijah ducked his head and then looked up at Orlando through his eyelashes, "I think we need to work out some stuff first. No, that's not true. I need to work stuff out." A dreamy smile appeared on his face, "I did tell her I loved her tonight. That was major for me. I have real intimacy issues, I don't even say that shit to my mom. Anyway, if we are good in about 3 months, then I will ask for a commitment. That still seems so fast to me."

Orlando grinned, "Can I tell you something and you have got to SWEAR to me that you will not tell Charlie that I told you this..."

Elijah grinned, "I swear..."

Orlando glanced down the hallway to make sure Charlie wasn't eavesdropping and then he spoke in a low voice, "She cries EVERY time she watches Huck Finn, she thought you were so cute, and then she made me rent everything you had been in previously. 'Lij, she cares about you, I have never seen her like this, I mean NEVER!" He squeezed Elijah's hand, "She loves you, I think a part of her has since she saw you in that movie."

Elijah turned bright red, "Really? Wow..." The only person that Elijah knew who had seen all of his films was his mother. Even his dad, Hannah and Zack hadn't bothered to watch them all. "I really love her too, Orli. She is amazing. I have never known someone as strong as she is. She is so beautiful... I can't believe that she wants me."

"Why wouldn't she? You're a good person, 'Lij. Trust me, she isn't as strong as she looks. See her watching one of your flicks and you better break out the tissues, cause she's a bawling female... But you didn't hear that from me."

"Charlie cries at movies? No wonder she said no every time I offered to rent something," Elijah snickered a bit at this. Maybe he was going to have to go to the video store soon.

"Oiy! That girl cried so hard at the end of Titanic... I thought she was going to flood the theater."

Elijah smiled at the thought, "I guess she doesn't want me to know she can be weak. But, Orli, that just makes me love her more, I don't need a perfect woman. Just someone I can respect and who respects me."

Orlando grinned lopsidedly, the grin that Elijah considered as sexy as sin, “Then guess what, mate?” at Elijah’s curious gaze he finished, “You’d better snag that woman before she gets away, because that woman's your perfect match in every way.” He then left Elijah sitting on the couch and went out onto the deck.
