Elijah looked up as Orlando appeared in the doorway that adjoined the two rooms and had to grin at the outfit he was wearing. “So, how do I look?” Orlando asked as he turned around slowly, showing off the black leather low-riders and the silvery shirt that hung loose around his body so that it would not disturb the ring through his nipple. Flashes of his sun tattoo caught Elijah’s eye as Orlando finished his turn.

“Sexy, if I was a girl or swung that way, I’d be all over you.” He said with a grin, tucking the royal blue shirt into his pants and picking up the pack of clove cigarettes. Elijah stuck his feet into a pair of sneakers and looked up as Orlando walked over, “what?”

“I thought you did, or was I wrong with the way you were staring at Dominic all the time?” he asked, as he looked down at Elijah with a solemn stare.

Elijah squirmed just a little bit, “I don’t know, Orli. I like girls a lot, but sometimes, it was just… I started thinking about what it would be like. But I’m not ready to jump headfirst into a relationship with a guy, and shit, Dom dates girls all the time.” Then he said softly, as he glanced up, “But, I’m proud of you, for choosing the lifestyle you wanted and not holding back.”

Orlando looked at Elijah and sighed softly, “Hey, ‘Lij?” the young man looked up at him questioningly, “You trust me right?”

“Yeah, course I do,” he replied, but was shocked as Orlando leaned down and brushed his mouth over his own. Elijah was amazed at the gentleness in Orli’s kiss and blushed a bit, for it stirred something within him that he had never felt before. Upon breaking the kiss, Orlando looked at him with something in his eyes.

“Now, now you know what it’s like, I love you as a friend and brother, and you’re the best friend I’ve had, with all the shit between me and Vig. I would never hurt you and I know that you’re scared. Love is a scary feeling, but it can sometimes be the best feeling in the world. When you know that your partner loves you for who you are,” He paused a moment, as he glanced at Elijah, knowing that the younger man was thinking of Dom, “You’ll never know unless you take the chance, but I understand.” He replied as they headed out the door together towards the lift. When the doors opened they both got in and headed down to the lobby.

Elijah was afraid of facing the thought that he might be gay, he had been avoiding thinking about it for three years. That's how long I have known Dom, he thought in surprise. “Let’s take a cab, that way we can both drink… but Orli, why does love have to be so complicated?” he glanced up at Orlando, who was leaning on the back of the lift and had his arms crossed over his chest.

When he opened his eyes he spoke softly, “Love has been complicated since the First Age, little one. Love is the driving factor in peace and war, heartache and surrender. There is never an escape.” Elijah blinked, confused at his words, but was even more confused at the blue highlights that seemed to just appear in Orlando’s brown gaze.

“Where did that come from, Orli? You never talk like that.”

Shaking his head Orlando replied, “The bloody fuck… what the hell is going on with me.” He mumbled as Elijah looked at his friend and noticed that the blue highlights were gone.

“Well it was pretty profound, wherever you got it from, but I like this you better,” Elijah replied with a grin as they hailed a cab and climbed in. “Let’s just go dance and have a good time, forget about our problems.”

Orlando slid into the cab and smiled, “Yeah, sounds like a plan mate, where we going anyway?” he asked, flipping open his phone. Elijah told him the name of the club he had been hanging out at. Orlando spoke quickly into his phone, “Place called Majestic Beast? Yeah, see you there mate,” closing the phone.

“Who was that?” Elijah asked, his eyes bright with curiosity.

“An old mate. But you’re right, let’s forget about Dominic and Aragorn…” he paused a moment, “Shite, did I just bloody say Aragorn?”

“By golly I think you did,” Elijah said with a grin, “maybe its revenge, maybe it’s jetlag; maybe it’s the joy of being out with a mate. Who knows, and who cares, let’s just get shit faced.”

Orlando grinned the way he used to, lop-sided and full of energy, “Sounds like a plan, I could use a cum shot, or a slow comfortable screw up against the wall…” he said softly, as Elijah blinked. Orlando reached over and ruffled his brown curls, “You know, I meant to thank you for all this.”

“I'm glad you came Orli. I just think sometimes I’m getting too old too quickly.”

“You will never be old, little one, as long as you feel young in your heart for that is where youth lies. All within,” he said as they pulled up in front of the club.

“You know what, you’re pretty weird Orli, but I am really glad that you’re my friend,” he said climbing out of the cab before Majestic Beast, where the pulsating beat was already loud enough to be heard outside as the two friends headed towards the doorway.

The stone around Orlando’s neck pulsated slightly then returned to normal and Orlando blinked, “Yeah, that’s me. Weird Orli.” He lit up a cigarette and walked with Elijah towards the massive black double doors of the club. There was a line to get into the place that wound its way around the corner. Couples of all persuasions, dressed mostly in black leather and fishnet, though some wore bright colors, such as red, blue and green but not many. “’Lij, where are you going?” he asked as Elijah walked straight towards the doors.

“They know me here, and they will know you,” he replied as the bouncer looked at them both and nodded, opening the door and letting them in, much to the dismay of those standing in line. Elijah checked his jacket with the coat girl and smiled at Orli, “You’ll love this place, it’s thumping and the rhythm is amazing here.”  He glanced towards Orlando who was gazing back at the bouncer with an interested look, “They recognized us, told you they would, isn’t that amazing?”

“I guess, I just always wanted to be an actor, not a celebrity,” he replied as they passed through a set of red velvet curtains into the interior of the club where the music slapped them like an angry enemy, it was a heavy pulsating beat and sounded almost Latin in origin but he could be wrong. The dance floor itself was large and the light beneath shone in red, yellow, blue and green at varied intervals, a bar took up one whole wall and was done in black wood and polished to a high sheen. There were banners hanging from the ceiling in vibrant shades of crimson and silver all emblazoned with the words: Majestic Beast in black. He looked around at all the couples on the dance floor, sweating and in each others arms, lost in their own little worlds and the music that pulsated from speakers that were strategically placed around the large club.

Taking Elijah’s hand in his own he threaded his way towards the bar through the large crowd of people. Elijah reveled in the feeling of Orli's hand in his, it was trivial and small but still nice. Glancing up at Orlando, Elijah practically had to shout to be heard, “What are you going to order?!”

Orlando leaned on the bar, the silver of his shirt contrasting beautifully with the dark wood, “Lemme have two cum shots mate!” he said as he slid the twenty across and the bartender nodded with a grin and went to mix the shots.

Eyes widened and an eyebrow went up at Orlando’s choice of drink, and it was just then that Elijah realized that a lot of people were staring at their hands which were still entwined. “I think we’re going to be considered an item, Orli,” he said, flushing slightly.

Releasing Elijah’s hand, Orlando handed him one of the two light coffee colored shots and grinned, “Your bloody point is, mate?” he asked, clinking his shot glass to Elijah’s, he continued, “To getting shit faced and having one hell of a night!” he said with a wicked grin. He upended the shot, which consisted of butterscotch Schnapps and Bailey’s and swallowed, letting another lop-sided grin pass over his lips.

“Man, you have the knack of stating things the best way!” Elijah said as he upended the drink and smiled.

“Ah, but to truly state things in the correct way is to be divine and at peace with yourself,” was his response, then he blinked, “Okay, something is seriously wrong with my bloody mind and it’s not just the shot, normally I’d need three or four of those to wax poetic like that.” He looked over at Elijah, setting his empty glass on the bar, “Want another shot or should we hit the floor?”

“I think we better dance, Orli, maybe shake loose whatever it is that has your head. Anyway, we look too good to be a pair of wallflowers!” he finished, as he set his empty glass down on the bar close to Orlando’s. Taking Elijah’s hand in his own, Orlando moved towards the dance floor and those flashing lights with the grace of a stalking predator. Reaching the dance floor, he draped his arms over Elijah's shoulder as he ground his hips into the younger man’s. Ricky Martin was blasting through the speakers, the heavy beat making Orlando tilt his head back, a grin sliding over his lips as his eyes closed in the feeling that raced through his very blood.

Elijah watched the bliss on Orlando’s face and smiled at his friend who was becoming more carefree with every minute. He wrapped his arms around Orli’s waist and moved to the rhythm of the music as they twisted their bodies and enjoyed the sensations that they aroused in each other. “So, this is what catharsis feels like!” he said, in surprise as Orlando revolved him in a spin making him see stars.

“Yeah, bet it is!” he said in response as the spun with his friend laughing, as he hadn’t felt this free in a long time. There were no thoughts of Viggo nibbling at his brain for the moment, and all he cared now was to be dancing and free of everything that held him down. The movie, Viggo, the way he felt inside; with the stone around his neck he did feel something... different, he couldn’t put his finger on it, for it kept eluding him. Although that was somewhat unsettling, he still loved the feelings of comfort the stone gave him. Elijah gasped suddenly and Orlando looked down at the younger man who seemed out of breath, “You alright mate?”

“I think I need to sit down, have another drink,” Elijah said as Orlando laughed, then half dragged Elijah to a booth and slid him into it with a grin.

“What do you want?” he asked.

“Whatever you have is fine!” Elijah said as he slumped into the leather seat. He closed his eyes for a moment, trying to get the room to stop spinning, as the thumping beat reached his ears. Without realizing it, his foot tapped beneath the black table with its red rim in time with the music. Orlando made his way to the bar and got the tender’s attention and ordered two Long Island Ice Teas. When he had paid for them he headed back to the booth, drinking half of his on the way. He slid the other in front of Elijah. “Thanks,” the younger man said, as he took a healthy swallow of the liquor and sighed.

“Glad to oblige. I think I’m gonna hit the floor again and find myself a partner, if you don’t mind,” Orli said, as he glanced at Elijah who nodded. With a grin that was sultry and predatory, Orlando slid back onto the dance floor and didn’t have to search long for a partner as a tall man came out of nowhere and offered his hand to dance. Taking it in his own, he grinned and nodded. The beat was more of a hip-hop techno and the two of them ground their hips into each others as though there were no one else on the floor. A circle formed around them as they lost each other to the music. Orlando’s eyes were closed, though he was picturing someone else’s arms around him. He slung one lone arm around his partner’s neck and slid one leg between his. He’s a good dancer, but damn, he’s not who I want, he thought to himself.

The man he was dancing with, wrapped his arm tightly around Orlando’s waist as the lithe man turned in his arms and ground his ass backwards, both Orlando’s arms were loosely wrapped around the man’s waist and the man in turn had reached his arms back to Orlando, his fingers sliding against his washboard abdomen with feather light touches. Elijah looked over and saw Orli on the floor dancing, lost in the music; he envied his friend’s way of losing himself with his partner even if it was just a dance. Orlando’s eyes were closed, head thrown back in ecstasy as he moved harder in the rhythm. I wish I could be that bold and just find a dance partner on the floor, but I only really want Dominic, don’t I? he thought to himself as he watched Orlando turn once more and the two of them just kept moving. The couple was pressed thigh to thigh, groin to groin and chest to chest, you couldn’t pass a piece of paper between them and it seemed that neither one of them cared at that moment in time.

Elijah shook his head slightly at the energy Orlando always seemed to have. Then his thoughts shifted, Orlando was exhibiting some odd behavior tonight with the things he was saying. It’s almost as if he was talking like an oracle or an elf, Elijah grimaced, taking another swallow of his drink. Elijah had another horrifying thought, What if Orlando is losing it, thinking he’s Legolas just so that he can go back to Viggo? Elijah hated the way his thoughts were wandering and scowled to himself, but then his eyes caught sight of someone that made his loins tighten in his jeans.

Orlando came back over and looked at Elijah with concern, “You okay? You look a little, well off mate.” He slid into the booth and crossed his long legs at the ankle. Elijah looked up and nodded. Orlando continued, “You look like you have a lot on your mind, 'Lij. Want to talk about it?”

“Just thinking stupid thoughts, but you looked good out there,” he replied, watching as Orli ran a hand through his hair lazily.

The stone around his neck pulsed. “You should not dwell on sorrowful things, lest you fade with your unreciprocated feelings of love and desire,” he said softly, as the stone continued to flash with light and power.

“Uh, well… I was just thinking, and I’m not making sense,” Elijah noticed that the stone was flashing blue and white, but thought it must just be the lighting of the club.

“Sometimes the best time to make sense is when you are not making any,” he said as the light began to fade from the stone, “You know, I know exactly what you mean, I wasn’t supposed to be thinking of Viggo and I was all the while when I was dancing out there.” Orlando said as Elijah looked up and noticed that the stone had stopped doing the crazy things he had thought they were.

“Well, you know, we could have a reunion, a party! Whaddya think?” Elijah asked.

“Sounds like a bloody plan.”

“Maybe back in New Zealand?” he asked, voice hopeful.

“Sure, place is as good as any. What about the King of Men, you gonna invite him?” Orlando asked, though he wasn’t sure why, but his voice was softer than silk.

Elijah winked at Orli and shook his head, “I wouldn’t do that to you, besides who needs that bloody wanker! He can just sod off!” Elijah said his eyes alight with mischief.

Orlando smiled and shook his curly head, "No, it wouldn't be right not to include Viggo. I think I will be okay with it." Orlando looked around the club, still shirtless as he glanced at Elijah. "Ya know, Mate... I'm glad you dragged me from New Zealand, it's good to see ya," he slurred slightly, as he took another sip of his drink.

"I am really glad you came Orli. It was a fuckin' bore till you showed up. I hate these publicity deals," Elijah grinned, the gap between his teeth making him look like a pixie. His eyes wandered back over to the bar and caught his breath again. Damn, that is the sexiest person I think I have ever seen! Elijah thought.

Orlando noticed that Elijah's attention was transfixed over his shoulder somewhere, "What's up, mate? You've been looking over at the bar since I sat down."

Elijah blushed and then said, "It's just there's someone over there that looks like they just jacked into the Matrix and I can't seem to keep my eyes off of that body."

Orlando turned his head and saw her instantly, the raven hair had maroon tips today that brushed her shoulders. The piercing in her eyebrow was new, a silver ring. Orlando had to smile as he looked over at Elijah. "Yeah, she's something else," he said, his eyes lazily roaming her body, the tight black vinyl pants that hugged her lithe form, the shirt she wore, and the way she could get away without having to wear a bra. "Want to meet her?"

"You know her? Wow, she is hot! Where do you know her from? Yeah, I want to meet her!" Elijah had never seen a girl like her before and she affected him somehow... in some way that girls usually didn't.

"CHARLIE, LUV!" he shouted loudly, as she turned and her eyes widened behind the mirrored sunglasses. He waved at her with his hand and glanced at Elijah, "She's my best friend, I've known her forever... Mechanic and well, I'll let you find out the rest." Charlie moved toward the booth with languid grace, every movement poetry in motion. Smooth and sinuous, her lightly muscled frame denied gender, but exuded sensuality."

Elijah swallowed nervously as she approached, "Hey mate, is she like dangerous?" Watching her come toward him, he was reminded of a stalking panther.

"Nah, she's sweet, just... uh, don't piss her off," he said as he slid from the booth and kissed her cheek, "How you been, luv? You're lookin pretty fucking sexy. But then again, you always do."

"Orlando darling, what are you doing in this cesspool? I thought you were in New Zealand on a recupe," Charlie's voice was low and sensual. Pitched like a trained tenor, listening to her was like music. Elijah's mouth dropped open and then he caught himself. Taking a drink quickly, he thought about algebra, science, anything but the woman standing before him.

"I was, but I got a call from an old friend, and came to Milan. Charlie, this is 'Lij," he leaned down and whispered in her ear, "be nice." He turned towards Elijah, "'Lij, Charlie." He slid back into the booth and pulled Charlie onto his lap.

Charlie put her arms around him and purred in his ear, "Oh I can be NICE, darling." She nibbled his earlobe and blew across it with her warm breath. Then turning to Elijah she reached across the booth and presented her hand to Elijah. "It's nice to meet you 'Lij, I am a big fan of your work."

Orlando flushed as she nibbled his earlobe, for it always drove him crazy and he swatted her butt lightly with his hand, "Behave...." he growled into her ear, as he looked over at Elijah, "Charlie was there when I was in the hospital, called me a bloody idiot for falling three stories... which of course she was right." He ran his hand through his hair.

Elijah took her hand gently in his, "The pleasure is all mine, Charlie. I am happy to meet any friend of Orli's", he managed to say with only the slightest quiver in his voice.

Orlando's eyebrow went up, as he tried to hold back a snicker at the way Elijah was looking at Charlie, "It's been a good while, Charlie... What have you been up to?"

"Oh you know, travelling the world, fixing the cars of the rich and famous! It's suddenly become fashionable to have a female mechanic, and well, I am the best you know!" She laughed low and flashed Elijah a blinding smile, "Need any work done on your motor?"

Orlando laughed loudly and looked over at Elijah, "I'd take her up on that offer, she does one hell of a good tune up." He had a wicked grin on his lips and sent Elijah a wink.

Elijah blushed, he felt hot and cold at the same time. Damn it, it wasn't even a half an hour ago that I decided I am gay. This isn't fair. What the fuck am I anyway?  "Uh mm, sure. I don't have a regular mechanic, just been taking it to the dealership," he said, feeling very lame indeed.

Orlando leaned over the table slightly and whispered loudly to Elijah, "Don't think that's the motor she had in mind, 'Lij." he said, then leaned back and looked up at Charlie who was perched in his lap. "Was it, luv?"

Charlie laughed huskily, "I am a girl of many talents, you know that." Then she raised an eyebrow and smirked, "I would love to find out what makes both of your engines tick."

Orlando grinned, "You already know what makes my engine tick," he said deliberately misunderstanding her. He nuzzled her neck with his nose and then he bit the same spot lightly. Shifting, he set her off his lap and into the seat next to him. He leaned back and stretched, his bare chest gleaming and the light flashed off of his nipple ring. "You know, I almost got 'Lij to tattoo his arse today."

Elijah had just taken a generous sip of his drink and almost spit it everywhere. "Shit, Orli! Give a guy some warning will ya?" then Elijah grinned, "I was only gonna do it to save you from excruciating pain."

"Oiy! I happen to like my ring," he said, as he gazed admiringly down at the new niobium ring through his nipple. He turned and showed it to Charlie, "What do you think luv? I think it suits me!"

Charlie turned her emerald green eyes and raked them over Orlando's chest, then rested them on the ring piercing his left nipple. "Very sexy, darling! Makes me want to nibble," she said, knowing very well that Orlando's chest was probably quite tender right now. Then she turned her incredible eyes toward the younger man with a small smile, "Well Elijah, I think you would look lovely with a ring. Believe me it's not as painful as it sounds. I could come and hold your hand if you like?" Charlie enjoyed teasing the young man who was so obviously attracted to her. He's kinda cute too, in a different sort of way, she thought to herself.

"Oiy! Hey, I remember the LAST time you nibbled on me... I had teeth marks in my shoulder for a bloody week!" he interjected, covering his nipple with his hand lightning fast. He glanced over at Elijah and gave him a subtle jerk of his head towards Charlie. Rising to his feet, he hopped over the back of the booth and headed for the bar. "Thirsty as hell, luv. Bring you guys back something," he called back to them and then vanished into the crowd.

Elijah was blushing, knowing that his attraction for Charlie must be really obvious for Orlando to have made such a gesture and then leave them alone. Looking down at the table, he said, "He... he's uh got a lot of energy... have you known him long?"

Charlie reached across the table and lifted Elijah's chin so he was looking at her. "All my life sweet thing, all my life! We grew up together, boy next door and all that. Orlando taught me how to play doctor." She smiled at Elijah, her fantastic eyes boring into his startled blue ones, "He cares for you, I can tell that. So I am very glad to know you." She purred the last sentence and looked at him with knowing eyes.

Elijah wouldn't have thought he could've blushed any deeper, but apparently he could. "I have only known him since we started filming together on Lord of the Rings, he's really nice and lots of fun to be around. I care about him too, I just wish that I could help him the way he needs."

Charlie spared a brief glance at Orlando standing at the bar. Apparently, he was watching them with interest for he winked at her. She smiled and returned her attention to Elijah, "You are helping him, you know. I haven't seen him this happy and carefree in a long time."  She reached across the table and stroked Elijah's hand gently, "You have more inside you than you know of, Elijah. Don't sell yourself short." Charlie raised Elijah's hand to her lips and kissed it softly, allowing her warm breath to caress the slightly damp spot.

Elijah suppressed the shudder that came from her sweet breath upon his hand and stammered, "So, you know... about him... and Vig?" He looked at her with wide expressive eyes, "You know that you're.... uh, well..." he rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "pretty."

Charlie smiled slowly, "I know about their situation, Elijah and it will work out. I am not sure how yet, there is a piece that is not in place yet." She removed her half-boot under the table without any indication and then ran her foot up Elijah's leg till it rested just below his manhood. She growled low, "Do you think I am pretty Elijah?"

Elijah quivered at the touch of her foot as he swallowed hard and nodded. "Oh yeah," then he blinked, "What do you mean that there is a piece not in place?"

Charlie looked thoughtful as she sought for the right words, "There is a factor that has not presented itself yet, a piece of the puzzle that is missing." She wiggled her toes so they just lightly grazed Elijah's sac and grinned, "So 'Lij, what are you into, Luv?" She hadn't had this much fun in a long time, Elijah was just too cute.

"Driving really fast..." he whispered, trying not to wiggle as she grazed his balls with her toe. He was tempted half to go closer and half to pull back and away from her. He wasn't sure what to do about this. It seemed like she and Orlando were lovers, but then again what was Orli's gesture earlier about. "Uh.... aren't you and Orli.... you know.... friends?" he blushed again.

Charlie smiled seductively, "A man who drives fast, sounds intriguing." She removed her foot abruptly, stood and moved over to Elijah's side of the booth. "Orli is my best friend," she whispered into his ear, "I think I should be closer to you so no one can overhear us." She sat in Elijah's lap with her arms around him. "Isn't this better, Lij?" she purred into his ear.

Elijah felt his groin tighten and heat flared up his body, "Uh, Charlie, I am really confused..." His physical attraction to Charlie was warring with the love he had felt for Dom for the past 3 years. But Dom isn't attracted to me anyway, I don't think he likes guys. She's a girl.. Oh man, what is wrong with me?

"Decisions can be changed you know Elijah, not all things are black and white. Because you desire one thing doesn't mean you cannot crave another," Charlie's voice wove around him almost hypnotically.

His hand was hesitant as he touched her face,  "Really? Then I'm not crazy?"

Charlie grasped his face and turned it, so that he would look into her green eyes, "Elijah, you are one of the most sane men I have ever met." She kissed him heatedly, running her tongue along his lips. A growl left his lips as Elijah kissed her in response, his tongue flicking lightly at the corner of her mouth, as he pressed himself against her as best he could in the booth.

Orlando poked his head over the opposite seat and picked up his shirt. "I'll be on the floor, not that you two will miss me," he said with a snicker and walked over to the dance floor and pulled someone into his arms.

Charlie ran her hands over his chest, playing with his nipples beneath the soft fabric. She lifted for a second and rearranged herself so she was straddling Elijah. Pressing her warm leather clad bottom against his sex, she moved slowly in circles, gyrating on top of him. Elijah whimpered into her mouth, as he thrust upwards into that warm gyrating core. He arched his back against her fingers and barely heard Orlando. His hands were hesitant as they glided over her small breasts that were mere bumps beneath her shirt. Breaking the kiss between them he panted, "So, what was that about a tune up?"

Charlie was breathing heavily as well, "No appointment necessary for you, Luv. And I make housecalls." Charlie breathed into his mouth then she attempted to kiss him again.

He moved his mouth before she could kiss him, for her kisses were intoxicating him. "Then let's go... if you really want to... I... I'm not going to.... push," he said softly, as he took her hands in his own.

"Darling, I don't think it was you who was doing the pushing," she laughed throatily. "Take me to your abode, I am all yours for tonight."

"Should we tell Orli we're leaving?" he asked as he slid from the booth, still holding her hand in his.

"Dont worry, he knows. He's been keeping an eye on you, to protect you from the big bad wolf," She smiled and lifted her eyebrow. "He knows I want to eat you up." She rubbed his palm teasingly with her finger and smiled harder when he gasped.

"You gonna huff and puff and blow me down?" he asked with a grin as they headed towards the door together. He saw Orlando watching them go with a huge grin on his lips. He was glad that his friend was happy... and Charlie was going to have some fun also.

"That and a few other things as well. Your engine will be running faster than you ever thought possible!" Charlie kissed Elijah's neck, just above the collar bone and nibbled gently. He shuddered in reaction as they left the club and then hailed a cab. Climbing in the back seat with her, he tried to keep calm until they reached the hotel. Charlie didn't seem willing to cooperate with him, as he was treated to a preview of her tune-up skills.

Viggo thought about Orlando and missed him dreadfully. He missed his carefree ways and his passionate lust for life, "Dammit, I am just going to call. He has already called me almost every name in the book, what harm can a few more do." Viggo grabbed his cell phone and quick dialed Orlando's cell phone. He waited impatiently as the phone began to ring.

Orlando was leaning with his back against the wood bar and heard his cellular phone ring in his pocket. Pulling it out of his pocket, he hit the 'talk' button and said, "Hello, this be the Bloom boy!"

Viggo smiled at the sound of his voice, he sounded really good, "Hi, Orli, it's me. Can we talk?"

"Sure, I think Charlie can do without me for a little while," he leaned over the bar and said, "Lemme get another skull fuck over here will you?!"

Viggo rocked backwards on his heels in shock, "Uh, who's Charlie?"

"Just an old friend and lover," he replied, grinning as only Elijah knew who Charlie really was. "Why? what's up wherever you're at?" he lit a cigarette and puffed on it idly and sipped his drink, his third of the night, and waited for an answer.

Viggo ran his hand through his sandy hair, "Um, I am in Norway, for an exhibition. Orli, how long have you known Charlie?"

"Charlie? All my life," he said, "Charlie has been there for me through it all, I call every week just to see how my Charlie is doing. We get together as often as we can." He finished off his drink and put it down on the bar, the cigarette dangling from his mouth. "Norway sounds good, I guess."

Viggo sat down heavily and his breath whooshed out of him, "You were seeing him when we were together?"

"Nah, I wasn't seeing Charlie, well once or twice but it was innocent and harmless, just went to the pub, had a few drinks," Orlando smiled for he could hear the jealously in Viggo's voice. It felt really good.

"I see... well I guess I better let you go, I just wanted to see how you are... Nothing big I guess. I..." Viggo's voice trailed off.

"You what, mate? Bloody spit it out," he said as he got jostled, "Oiy, ya bloody twit! Watch where yer going!" he snarled.

"I just want you to be happy. I wanted you to know that," Viggo sounded miserable.

"I'm pretty happy, I miss you, but you know what it is that you did to get this way," he said grumbling, as he headed for the door and flagged a cab.

"Yeah I am starting to realize that Orli. I deserved everything you said to me and a lot more. But I know it's too late, just wanted to say sorry." Viggo, hung up the phone too heartsick to wait for a reply.

Viggo had been wrong, there were worse things than being called names by the one you love. He closed his eyes and leaned his head upon his hands. Tears began to flow as he sobbed quietly into his hands.
